Newfoundland is for serious sailors. Spectacular fjords, icebergs, abundant wildlife, and genuine frontier character — but weather is challenging, fog is frequent, and facilities are sparse outside St. John’s. Iceberg Alley (April–July) is a real navigation hazard requiring extreme vigilance.
